02 Our Role

3D Product Visualization, Brand Video, Product Launch Support

03 The Details

Xirgo Technologies is a leader in fleet vehicle telematics, offering modular IoT hardware, AI-powered video telematics, and comprehensive fleet management software. The company emerged from Balmoral Funds' acquisition of Sensata Insights, reuniting three established brands—Xirgo Technologies, Smart Witness, and Elastic M2M—under the revitalized Xirgo name.

The Challenge

Launching a new brand in the telematics space required a complete visual identity and product imagery system. With approximately 20 products (plus variations) to showcase—many requiring 360° spin views for sales and web use—traditional photography would have been time-consuming and inflexible.

Our Approach

With our partners at ReThinkStudios, we built a complete 3D product visualization pipeline using Maya for modeling and a Nuke-based compositing workflow with multi-layered EXR files. This Hollywood-caliber post-production approach allows us to make adjustments to lighting, backgrounds, and product details without re-rendering entire sequences. All output is rendered at 4K resolution, supporting both high-resolution print and future-proofing video assets.

To launch the brand, we produced an anthem video that establishes Xirgo's identity and value proposition for trade shows, sales presentations, and web use.

    OUTCOMES
  • The 3D pipeline has proven valuable beyond initial production efficiency. Products still in development can be visualized with final branding before physical units exist, supporting sales and marketing timelines. Quick iterations on color, lighting, or product configurations happen in post rather than requiring new shoots.
  • The engagement continues with additional rendering work and UX projects.
